Kiel's local public transport is planned, organized and financed by the Eigenbetrieb Beteiligungen of the state capital Kiel (EBK). The EBK draws up the regional public transport plan and holds all shares in KVG (buses) and SFK (ships). In addition, the state capital is integrated into the state-wide SH tariff.
